Dating a single parent with kids in tow isn't right for everyone. No matter how much chemistry you share, or how much you value your relationship, there will be times when the kids will interrupt your flow. You'll plan a special outing and— boom —someone gets sick. Or you've had a long day and just want to unwind, only to find the kids ramped up and rowdy.
I would imagine that everyone has some sort of reaction to that word. To some, the word evokes memories of romantic moments with a significant other. To others, the word summons horrific memories of blind dates that made you want to run for the hills. For me, the word triggers memories of blown money, awkward silences, over-analyzed text messages, and just straight-up awkwardness.
